Broadcast Texting

Dialed allows you to “broadcast” text messages to up to 20 people. Unlike group texts, broadcast texts are sent individually to each recipient. When they reply to the broadcast text, they reply 1-1. This feature is great for sending customers or clients messages like special offers, schedule updates, or any other information about your business. Texts are a more personal and authentic way to communicate than a bulk email, and help you create relationships with your customers or clients.

Dialed makes it easy to send broadcast messages. You can either send a broadcast message directly to a group, or by using the standard new text message composer.

From the new text composer:

1. From the inbox tap the new message button on the top right of the screen

2. From the message composer, tap the (+) icon on the top right of the screen

3. Select recipients

   1. Either select up to 20 recipients individually

   2. Or Tap “Add recipients by segment” and then pick a group. Adding a group will add all members of that group as recipients.

4. Confirm your message

5. Write out your text message and send it

6. A “Receipt” of your message will be saved to your inbox

7. Tapping into that receipt shows you the content of the message and the recipients

8. Replies to your message will show up as individual texts

From the labels section:

1. From contacts, tap the labels button on the top right of the screen

2. Select any labeled group (e.g. customers)

3. Tap “Send a message to this group”

4. Compose your message and tap send.

5. A “Receipt” of your message will be saved to your inbox

6. Tapping into that receipt shows you the content of the message and the recipients

7. Replies to your message will show up as individual texts
